So Megs, I know you tagged me over a month ago, better late than never. Couldn't sleep, so here I am.
1. I love to vaccuum. If I could do it everyday, I would. Fortunately, time doesn't always allow me to, so I'm not one of those freaky people yet.
2. When I make up the bed, even if I'm about to get in it, I don't want there to be any wrinkles. No NOT one!
3. I have my own language. I make up words all the time. Really I take other words and make them my own, but it makes my students ask me what language I'm speaking, and if I'm feeling frisky I say my words really fast, it drives them wild.
4. It is a sad, sad day for me if I miss Wheel-of-Fortune. I could live without TV if it weren't for Wheel-of-Fortune. Someday, I'm going to play and make lots of money.
5. I am quickly becoming a Rock Band junkie. Do they have a 10-step program for that?
6. I don't like sweet tea or hot dogs. My dad used to tell me I was communist, call it what you want to, I just don't like it.

Christmas Came Early
So, I broke down, in a big kind of way. We've been talking about wanting a Wii for some time now, so I found a good deal on one (courtesy of Ebay) and bought one for Steve for Christmas. Well, it couldn't wait until Christmas. So I thought to myself, just give it as a birthday present, but that was no good either. His birthday is December 13th. So what was a girl to do? I wrapped it up in Christmas paper, but a sweet little bow on it and said, " Here's your Christmas present, you can open it now or wait." Sneaky little devil...he opened it.

My Steve
My Steve is the most wonderful man in the world. Just want to take
a blog to tell the world how lucky I am. He takes care of me, loves me when I'm not so loveable (hard to imagine I know), and makes me laugh or tries to every few minutes. The picture above is my Steve and his pretty legs in a pair of way streched out ballet flats that I chose not to wear after Tuesday of this week when they gave me the worst blisters of my life! So for entertainment Steve did a little routine for me. I know all you ladies out there are a little jealous about now, but sorry he's mine! I love this man more than anything!
A Dog Named Sanford
So we (I) just wasn't ready for a dog after our sweet Sadie passed away. Poor Steve, he's just been itching to have a dog of his own. Every time we went to someone's house with dogs he was all but drooling over them. So with time I eventually just wanted a dog for him because he wanted it so bad.
Then came Rowdy, a spunky little dog that Steve got for his parents, and it was all over. He was just so much fun that I broke down too...and that my friends is where Sanford comes in. He is the most wonderful dog in the world, very lively and spirited and loves to play. We are so in love with him. Steve can't wait to get out of the bed in the morning to bring him inside. They're a match made in heaven.
Sanford is a short legged little fiest and the newest addition to our family! I've posted some pictures of our little boy, he love's his daddy's stinky shoes. He won't go to sleep unless he has those shoes. :)

The Boat
Most of you are probably going to think that this is the stupidest thing in the world, but for those of you out there who enjoy stupid things, this might interest you. Steve and I participated in "Who Wants to Be a Millionare" on our cruise and of course we won (along with 2 other couples). While we were super excited about winning, WooHoo!, we were slightly disappointed when we didn't win a million dollars. Our parting prize was a plastic "24K" gold boat trophy. Why we even brought it home I don't know, but now I'm glad we did. After riding in my car for a couple of months we decided to use the boat for other purposes. We decided to hide the boat from each other in places that were obvious, but slightly out of sight. I know, weird...but it really is so much fun. Every time I find that ugly trophy I think about him and it makes me smile, makes me remember how much I love him. Stupid yes, but oh so much fun. I encourage everyone to try it. Oh and by the way...not that I'm keeping score or anything, but right now Steve has been unable to find the boat for almost 2 weeks, man I'm good!

Braves at Turner Stadium
Over the 4th weekend we took a trip to Atlanta with Josh & Lindsey, Kevin & Pam, and Daniel & Heather to see the Braves play the Astros. The game a little disappointing, they lost and Chipper had a not so good night, but the atmosphere was 2nd to none.
Sunday we did a little exploring in downtown Atlanta and visited the "New World of Coke," much better than the first one if I do say so myself. If you ever get a chance to go make sure to go to the 4-D theater. The seats move and wind blows and you get poked and everything. It was really neat. Not to mention that coke tasting...over 64 different coke products from around the world. I tried a few, but I think I'll just stick to my Sprite Zero and Fresca. Steve, tried a few more than I did, but I think he's satisfied with just plain Coke. Daniel on the other hand tried all 64.

Forever and a Day
So it's really been what seems like forever and a day since I've updated. As usual life has been incredibly busy for us, but I know you all have the same story. Lot's to update on, I'm going to do it one at a time so bear with me for the next couple of days as I get it all together.
We don't have children but do have nephews and a niece. For you mom's out there who know what happens when you give little kids pasta I'm sure you are secretly laughing inside because you know what is to come. Shane stopped by with the kids a few weeks ago and they decided they wanted to stay and eat with me and Steve when they saw the pasta spoon in my hand. Of course we thought we were up for the challenge, but two weeks later I was still finding little red pasta fingerprints throughout the house. How they do it, I don't know, but these little creatures leave their mark everywhere. I'm posting some pictures of their visit. Although we love and cherish these wonderful children, and just in case any of you were wondering we are not planning on having children anytime soon.
